Eaton is a renowned manufacturer of items ranging from golf grips to hydraulic power generators. Since 2019, the company has had a large presence in El Paso and is expected to expand further. Eaton recently announced an investment of $80 million for new operations, which will increase their workforce in El Paso from 300 to 900 employees.
Rumors suggest that Eaton may be taking over the Helen of Troy corporate headquarters as well; Helen of Troy recently put their head office and warehouse on the market with few other buildings available at this price point in town. On Aug 30th, Helen Of Troy entered into contract with an unnamed buyer for its building located Northwest El Paso – though they have not committed publicly yet – indicating that it could very well be Eaton who takes over this campus soon enough! The only publicly traded company headquartered in El Paso stated they would remain there but move into a new facility as part of restructuring efforts.
