"Eastham Capital Fund Acquires 75% Stake in Vernon Hills Retail Property"

Eastham Capital, a private equity real estate firm, has recently acquired a 75% ownership stake in The Landing at Town Center. This premier mixed-use community is located in Vernon Hills, Illinois and will be managed by Chicago-based Bender Companies.

The investment was made through Eastham Capital’s current fund, Eastham Capital Fund VI, LP. In addition to the acquisition of the majority ownership interest, there is also a significant budget set aside for renovations to enhance the property.

Founder and managing partner of Eastham Capital Matthew Rosenthal expressed excitement about partnering with Bender once again on this project. He stated that this transaction reflects their commitment to investing in high-quality properties in thriving markets that align with their strategic goals.

Situated at 1255 Town Center Rd., The Landing at Town Center boasts 85 upscale residential units and 10,609 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Plans are already underway for modest renovations to further improve the property’s appeal.

Overall,the acquisition by Eastham Capital Fund solidifies its presence as an investor focused on prime locations with strong tenant demand and robust local economies.
