The acquisition was made through Eastham’s current fund, Eastham Capital Fund VI, LP and Artisan will oversee day-to-day management. The exact price of the acquisition has not been disclosed.
According to Matthew Rosenthal, founder and managing director of Eastham Capital: “The property’s prime location on the southern edge of downtown offers our residents convenient access to major employment centers as well as desirable lifestyle amenities within Des Moines.” Cityville on 9th consists of 312 apartments and over 47,000 square feet of ground floor retail space that were built between 2015-2018. Its units include studios as well as one- and two-bedroom options.
