"EastBanc Secures Lease for USAGM in Downtown Washington, DC"

EastBanc has recently finalized a 15-year lease agreement with the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) for 290,000 square feet of office space at 1875 Pennsylvania Ave NW in Washington, D.C. This new location will serve as the future headquarters of Voice of America.

The relocation process will begin in the coming months and will be completed over several years in phases. It is estimated that this move will result in savings of over $150 million for taxpayers during the duration of the lease. According to USAGM CEO Amanda Bennett, “Our move to 1875 Penn marks an exciting new chapter that envisions a bright future for USAGM.”

USAGM oversees five international broadcasting entities: Voice of America, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Radio Free Asia, Middle East Broadcasting Networks and Office Of Cuba Broadcasting.
