**Alturas Capital Partners Acquires Montesa Plaza for $14.2M**

Alturas Capital Partners has acquired Montesa Plaza, a 75,000-square-foot multi-tenant retail center located on Tucson’s far-east side. This marks the firm’s first acquisition of 2025 and its third multi-tenant retail asset in Tucson. The property, spanning 7.2 acres, was purchased for $14.2 million from its previous owner, Brentwood Development.

Built in 1999, Montesa Plaza was 97% occupied at the time of sale. The center is anchored by the Galaxy Moving Theater and features tenants such as Starbucks, GNC, Five Guys, and Mama’s Pizza. Additionally, there is potential for further leasing and development on a vacant pad site within the property.

Nathan Thinnes and Darren Tappen of Kidder Mathews facilitated the acquisition, with Alturas Capital Partners working alongside its lender partner, Bank of Utah.
