Bally’s Corporation has announced its plans for the former site of Tropicana Las Vegas, which is still cluttered with debris. The company is coordinating its development schedule with the Oakland Athletics’ relocation to Las Vegas, intending to open a section of their new hotel-casino at the same time as the A’s ballpark in 2028. This 35-acre plot was previously occupied by a popular hotel and casino.
The first phase will include a sprawling 90,000-square-foot casino featuring 1,500 slot machines and 75 table games. Additionally, there will be a poker room and an expansive sportsbook area spanning over12,000 square feet. The resort’s accommodation component will be constructed in three stages; upon completion of all phases there are plans for up to3 ,000 rooms.
Construction on the A’s proposed stadium seating33 ,000 spectators is expected to commence by April2025 . It should take approximately31 months before it can officially open ahead of Opening Day in2028 . Both developments are eagerly anticipated by fans and investors alike.
