EAH Housing Breaks Ground on Los Altos’ First 100% Affordable Rental Community
Nonprofit developer EAH Housing, in partnership with the County of Santa Clara, has officially broken ground on Distel Circle, marking a significant milestone as the first fully affordable housing rental community in the City of Los Altos.
Located at 330 Distel Circle, just half a block from the El Camino Real corridor, the new development will include 90 residential units. These homes are designated for individuals and families earning between 30% and 80% of the area median income, with several units specifically set aside as permanent supportive housing.
“Distel Circle is a powerful example of what’s possible when public commitment meets community need,” said Laura Hall, President and CEO of EAH Housing. “We’re proud to mark this milestone with our partners, supporters, and neighbors. We thank you for your vision and investment in making affordable housing a reality across the region.”
The development reflects a broader regional effort to address the growing demand for affordable housing solutions and represents a collaborative step forward for the Los Altos community.
