Dwight Capital successfully secured a $58.6 million HUD 223(f) loan for the Residences at Town Square, a mixed-use apartment complex located in Amarillo, Texas. The property consists of four five-story apartment buildings and an attached leasing office/business center spread across 32 acres. It also includes 480 residential units and 121,360 square feet of ground-floor commercial spaces with various tenants such as retail stores, restaurants, and a dental office.
The loan proceeds will be used to pay off existing debt and finance energy-efficient upgrades for the property. Additionally, the loan qualified for a reduction in Green Mortgage Insurance Premium due to its expected National Green Building Standard Bronze certification achievement.
