Duluth, GA Multifamily Property Sold to Weinstein for $135M

Weinstein Properties has acquired the 390-unit Haven at Sugarloaf apartment community for $135 million from Brand Properties. The community, renamed Bexley Sugarloaf, is located on 17 acres off of Old Satellite Boulevard and opened in 2022. It includes 12,000 square feet of retail space along with 12 townhomes. Part of the acquisition was financed by a loan for $82.5 million from the Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America (TIAA).

The seller was represented by Robert Stickel, Alex Brown and Ashlyn Warren of Cushman & Wakefield while Weinstein entered the Atlanta market last year completing three acquisitions since then – including this one in Duluth GA which is now its largest multifamily transaction completed in Gwinnett County this year.
