**Duke Health Acquires Lake Norman Regional Medical Center for $284 Million**

Duke Health has completed the acquisition of Lake Norman Regional Medical Center (LNRMC) and its associated businesses in Mooresville, North Carolina, for $284 million. The 123-bed acute care hospital, previously owned by Community Health Systems, will now operate under the name Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital.

The newly renamed Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital offers a wide range of medical services including 24-hour emergency care, labor and delivery services, cardiology, surgical and orthopedic care, and an outpatient imaging center. Duke Health plans to enhance and support all existing services, continuing its mission to provide high-quality care within the local community.

In the coming months, the hospital’s electronic medical records will be integrated into Duke Health’s system. This transition will give patients enhanced access to Duke Health’s full spectrum of highly ranked specialty care.
