"DrinkPak Invests $452M in Two DFW Factories"

DrinkPak, a manufacturer of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, is investing $452 million in the construction of two factories in the DFW area. The California-based company plans to create 1,000 new jobs as part of this expansion.

The two facilities will be located at Trammell Crow’s 35 Eagle campus in southern Denton County and Carter Park East in southeast Fort Worth. They will produce a variety of products including energy drinks, sodas, waters, hard seltzers, canned cocktails, milk alternatives such as canned cold brew and oat milk-based drinks.

To support this development, the City of Fort Worth has approved a tax abatement for up to ten years that could cover 70%of incremental real and business personal property taxes with an estimated value worth $21 million. This abatement is contingent upon DrinkPak meeting certain requirements, such as maintaining an average annual salary above $70,000,and employing at least 800 full-time workers throughout both phases.
