A brand new co-working space has recently opened in the heart of downtown Portland at Fox Tower. The 19,290-square-foot space, called Co-Working PDX, was developed by TMT Development who owns Fox Tower. According to the Portland Business Journal, this opening comes as a response to the growing demand for office spaces at Fox Tower.
Co-Working PDX offers fully furnished workspaces that can accommodate anywhere from 1 to 20 people. This includes private offices, dedicated cubes and open desks. In a news release, President and CEO of TMT Development Vanessa Sturgeon stated that this new addition helps meet the needs of those looking for alternative workspaces in the market.
The rise in demand for office spaces also indicates a shift towards returning back to physical offices rather than working remotely. This is expected to bring more foot traffic into downtown Portland which will benefit local businesses such as restaurants and retail shops.
Fox Tower is located across from Pioneer Square and Director Park in Portland’s Central Business District at 805 SW Broadway.
