Newmark has recently welcomed Doug Mueller as the new Vice Chairman for their Washington, D.C. office. In this role, Mueller will lead the agency leasing efforts with a focus on representing office landlords.
During his tenure in 2024, Mueller and his team successfully completed over 100 transactions – averaging one every three days – earning them recognition as CREBA’s Top Agents of the Year. Throughout his career, he has closed more than 1,000 transactions totaling over $5 billion in deal volume and representing more than 20 million square feet.
Allison DiGiovanni, Executive Vice President and Mid-Atlantic Region Market Leader at Newmark expressed excitement about having Mueller join their team due to his proven track record of driving market share growth. She also mentioned that they are eager to combine his leadership skills with their top-notch platform to stay competitive in the industry.
Mueller joins Newmark from JLL where he served as an Executive Managing Director and Co-Head of Agency Leasing for Washington D.C., after previously working at CBRE as a Senior Vice President.
