Doral Apartments: $139M Flip Opportunity

The AMLI Doral apartments, located at 11431 Lakeside Drive, were recently sold for $139.25 million, equating to just under $400,000 per unit. The property was promptly rebranded as the Point at Lakeside and was originally purchased by AMLI in 2015 for a price of $103.5 million.

According to reports from the South Florida Business Journal, Pantzer Properties acquired the complex consisting of 352 units from AMLI Residential. JLL Real Estate Capital provided financing for the purchase with a five-year maturity and a mortgage amount of $87.65 million.

Situated on a spacious 14.6-acre site along Florida’s Turnpike and constructed in 2013, this apartment complex spans over an impressive total area of 475,423 square feet featuring amenities such as a lakefront view,pool access,fitness center,and clubhouse facilities.The available units range from cozy one-bedroom options measuring at approximately772 square feet up to more spacious three-bedroom layouts reaching up to1 ,331squarefeet.Prices startat$2 ,306permonthandgoas highas$4 ,135per monthforthe most luxurious offerings.
