The City of Atlanta and Dominium have recently unveiled two new residential communities designated for low-income tenants. Located along Greenbriar Parkway, these developments – Briar Park and The Paramount – are situated less than half a mile apart and offer convenient access to Interstate 285, as well as being just 12 miles from Downtown. Additionally, both complexes are within walking distance of the popular Greenbriar Mall.
Briar Park boasts a total of 244 units with one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans specifically designed for active seniors aged 55 years or older. Meanwhile, The Paramount offers a selection of 240 residential units featuring one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts that are available to renters without any age restrictions.
To qualify for occupancy at either Briar Park or The Paramount, renters must earn less than $64,500 annually (which is equivalent to earning no more than sixty percent of the area median income) if they have a family size consisting of four members. In addition to this requirement, residents must also earn at least twice their monthly rent (or in some cases up to two-and-a-half times) in order be considered eligible for tenancy.
Move-ins will commence on August first according to current plans.
