Dollar General Acquires Million SF Justin Distribution Center

Dollar General is taking steps to ensure vulnerable supply chains don’t become a hangover from the Covid pandemic. The firm has expanded its global reach with a new 1 million-square-foot distribution center in Justin, Texas, located 30 miles northwest of Dallas. At 1201 Bold Ruler Road, the facility lies near the BNSF Railway Intermodal Facility and serves as an intermediary point between import locations and Dollar General’s distribution center network. Additionally, another regional hub was opened in Newnan Georgia.

Tony Zuazo of Dollar General stated that these recent additions “aim to provide greater efficiencies [and] create additional jobs while driving positive economic impact.” When at full capacity, it is estimated that 200 people will be employed by this facility which was built by Northpoint Development as a build-to-suit project.
