IDEAYA Biosciences, a clinical-stage precision medicine oncology company, recently signed a long-term lease for 44,000 square feet of Class A space at DivcoWest’s 5000 Shoreline Ct. in South San Francisco’s Sierra Point life science cluster. The 140,000-square foot building offers IDEAYA access to lab space designed specifically for its needs and growth plans with move in expected mid-2024.
DivcoWest was represented by Chris Jacobs and Matt Jacobs of CBRE while Grant Dettmer and Scott Miller from JLL represented IDEAYA Biosciences during the transaction. Last year DivcoWest acquired the waterfront property as a vacant office building before immediately putting into place an upgrade plan to convert it into high quality lab use with improved systems and infrastructure that appeals to life science users.
