District La Brea, a group of adjacent buildings featuring prominent retail storefronts and commercial space along Los Angeles’ La Brea Avenue, has been acquired by CIM Group. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
CIM Real Assets & Credit Fund facilitated the purchase of District La Brea, which encompasses approximately 82,210 square feet of commercial space and includes 171 parking stalls with a three-story parking structure.
The collection boasts a diverse mix of retail options such as fashion boutiques, restaurants and home design stores. According to CIM Group’s statement on the acquisition, District La Brea is an essential part of an area known for its vibrant arts scene and influential streetwear and fashion brands. Some notable retailers at District La Brea include Arc’Teryx , Stone Island , Undefeated , Market , Garrett Leight , Schott NYC , Sycamore Kitchen , Burrow Interior Define AETHER Appareland SUGARFISH by Sushi Nozawa .
