A new boutique hotel worth $30 million is set to be built in Roswell, located north of Atlanta. The five-story Cambray Hotel, branded by Hyatt, will consist of 125 rooms and construction is scheduled to begin in May. Inspired by the area’s history with brick mills, the hotel’s architecture will reflect this aesthetic.
Guests can look forward to a rooftop restaurant as well as a 24-hour market and valet services at the Cambray Hotel. Swinerton has been chosen as the construction company for this project which is being developed jointly by DSM Real Estate Partners and GarageCap.
Adjacent to this development sits Southern Post – a mixed-use complex spanning over 4.3 acres that includes office space (approximately 90,000 square feet), apartments, townhomes and retail options.
According to recent data from Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau reported by Atlanta Business Chronicle , there has been a slight decrease in hotel occupancy rates across metro Atlanta. In January alone, occupancy was just under 58% within the larger region consisting of twenty-nine counties – down from last year’s rate by approximately 3.7%.
