“Discover the New Johnnies Restaurant at Fenway Transformation”

"Discover the New Johnnies Restaurant at Fenway Transformation"

The Fenway Corners development, located near the iconic Fenway Park, is set to expand with a proposed addition. According to a report by Boston Business Journal, the plan involves redeveloping 96-98 Brookline Ave., which currently houses Fenway Johnnies restaurant. The new development will feature office and lab spaces on its upper floors while maintaining retail or restaurant options on the ground floor.

This project is just one part of the larger 2.1 million square feet development that encompasses several streets including Jersey, Lansdowne, Van Ness and Brookline Avenue. The joint venture behind this redevelopment includes WS Development, Fenway Sports Group and the D’Angelo family.

Public feedback is being sought by BPDA regarding this proposed change which aims to transform the frontage along Brookline Avenue from Richard B. Ross Way extension to Jersey Street. It remains unclear when this project will be completed and what impact it may have on Fenway Johnnies.
