Savills, a leading global real estate firm, recently facilitated the relocation of the World Surf League’s (WSL) headquarters to El Segundo. The WSL will now occupy a 16,324-square-foot sublease at 2201 Rosecrans Ave.
The real estate strategy for this move was spearheaded by Savills’ senior managing director Michael Shuken and president of the Los Angeles region Josh Gorin. A comprehensive workplace study was conducted by senior managing director Shannon Woodcock.
As El Segundo continues to emerge as a hub for sports in LA with major leagues and teams relocating to the area, this location aligns perfectly with WSL’s goal of establishing itself as the premier destination for competitive surfing worldwide.
According to Shuken: “In addition to consolidating their previous spaces into one unified workplace, WSL also wanted an upgraded office environment. After surveying multiple options in Los Angeles and expanding our search into South Bay, we found an ideal opportunity that met all their requirements – size, quality improvements, amenities and parking – all within five minutes from the beach.”
This exciting development marks another milestone in El Segundo’s growing reputation as a top destination for businesses across various industries.
