"Discover the Debut of Salesforce Tower Chicago and the Company's $1.25M Grant Commitment"

Salesforce Inc. has officially opened its new office building, Salesforce Tower Chicago, in downtown Chicago today. The 60-story tower spans over 1.2 million square feet and is located at 333 W. Wolf Point Plaza. As the anchor tenant, the San Francisco-based software company occupies a total of 360,000 square feet.

This grand opening marks the third phase of development for Wolf Point which includes two residential high-rise buildings developed by Houston-based Hines: Wolf Point East with 700 apartments and Wolf Point West with an additional 500 apartments. In addition to this milestone event, Salesforce also announced $1.25 million in grants to support communities in Illinois and specifically Chicago.

The recipients of these grants include CASEL (Collaborative for Academic Social and Emotional Learning), a nonprofit based in Chicago that focuses on incorporating evidence-based social and emotional learning into pre-K through high school education; as well as Peer Health Exchange, another nonprofit that provides mental health education workshops and digital solutions for middle schoolers across various communities including Chicago.

Furthermore,the top two floors of Salesforce Tower are designated as ‘Ohana Floors’ – spaces dedicated to employees during work hours but also available for local nonprofits to host fundraising events outside business hours.This initiative has already raised over $108 million globally through other ‘Ohana Floors’.

This exciting debut highlights not only the growth potential within downtown Chicago but also showcases Salesforce’s commitment towards supporting local communities through their philanthropic efforts.
