The Dallas rental market is currently experiencing a decline in prices, with rents dropping 2.7% since the summer peak. However, as moving activity slows during the holiday season, renters can take advantage of lower prices and find great deals on apartments. The median rent for a one-bedroom unit is $1,189 and $1,420 for a two-bedroom unit in Dallas.
In fall 2024, Crystal Village will welcome The Evergrove – a new apartment complex located on 15 acres in Leander. This development will consist of three buildings with almost 350 units within the larger mixed-use community that includes parkland and various amenities such as biking trails and retail space.
Kaufman Economic Development Corp (KEDC) recently acquired an additional 100 acres to expand its existing industrial business park on US-175 by adding over one million square feet of industrial space through private capital investment totaling $340 million. H5 Data Centers based out of Denver has announced plans to expand its San Antonio campus at Taylor St., adding turnkey colocation space that can accommodate up to an extra capacity of power up to approximately one-and-a-half megawatts along with another building spanning over eighty-five thousand square feet without disclosing any construction timeline details yet.
