Architectural Standard is leading a comprehensive housing project in Panthersville, located southeast of Atlanta off I-20. The town is also home to Barack Obama Elementary School (photo). This 80-acre mixed-use development will feature a variety of housing options including workforce, senior, and market-rate units.
According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the project will consist of 766 apartments and 107 townhomes. These apartments will be divided into three categories: workforce (248 units), senior (158 units), and market-rate housing (360 units). Additionally, there are plans for medical office and retail space within the development.
In addition to these amenities, MARTA has announced plans for a high-capacity bus line near the proposed project. This new transportation option would connect Georgia State University’s Perimeter College with MARTA’s rail network.
