Columbia Property Trust, Inc. has recently secured new leases at its 20-story office building located in Midtown South’s Flatiron District on 315 Park Avenue South. The property boasts a diverse mix of tenants from the tech and financial industries, including companies like PitchBook and Twitch.
One of the new tenants is Harvey, a generative AI firm that has opened its first New York office occupying an impressive 17,050 square feet on the fifth floor. Along with Harvey, two retail leases have also been signed – Kernel by Chipotle founder Steve Ells as well as Just Salad who extended their lease for another five years.
CEO of Harvey Winston Weinberg expressed his excitement about establishing their permanent office in NYC’s Flatiron District stating that they believe being together in a dedicated space is crucial for team building and product development.
The leasing transactions were facilitated by Columbia Property Trust’s Maria Blake and Ted Koltis along with David Falk, Peter T. Shimkin and Jonathan Fanuzzi from Newmark representing them in-house during the negotiations with JLL’s Todd Stracci and Hugh Scott representing Harvey.
This latest development marks Columbia Property Trust’s expansion into Midtown South while showcasing its ability to attract top-tier tenants to this prime location within New York City.
