"Dickinson Unveils Plans for 15-Acre Mixed-Use Development"

The state of Texas is experiencing robust growth, not just in its major cities but also in smaller towns like Dickinson in Galveston County. Developer Collaborate has announced plans for a 14.7-acre mixed-use project called Bayou Village, which will contribute to this growth. As reported by the Houston Business Journal, the development will feature a 20,000-square-foot retail building with multiple tenants, two pad sites for additional businesses, a 40,000-square-foot grocery store and a four-story apartment complex with up to 240 units ranging from one to two bedrooms.

To accommodate visitors and residents alike, there will be approximately 240 parking spaces for the retail area and at least 350 spaces for the apartments. Collaborate is currently considering proposals from two different companies for the apartment development.

Currently at least half of the retail space has been leased out and negotiations are underway with several popular tenants including Velvet Taco , Shake Shack , Crack Shack , Kura Revolving Sushi Bar , Wild Fork and Via313 Pizzeria . This exciting new project demonstrates that Dickinson is on track towards continued economic growth without relying solely on larger metropolitan areas like Houston or Dallas.
