Dickinson Scores 15 Acre Mixed Use Project

The state of Texas is experiencing robust growth, not just in its metro areas but also in smaller towns like Dickinson in Galveston County. Developer Collaborate has announced plans for a 14.7-acre mixed-use project called Bayou Village, showcasing the widespread development happening across the state.

According to reports from the Houston Business Journal, Bayou Village will feature a 20,000-square-foot retail building with multiple tenants and two pad sites. Additionally, there will be a 40,000-square-foot grocery store and a four-story apartment complex with up to 240 one- and two-bedroom units on the ground level along with parking space for both retail and apartments.

Collaborate is currently considering proposals from two companies for the apartment development while already securing leases for about half of the retail building including popular names such as Velvet Taco, Shake Shack , Crack Shack , Kura Revolving Sushi Bar , Wild Fork ,and Via 313 Pizzeria . This exciting new project highlights Dickinson’s potential as an emerging hub of growth without mentioning any specific organizations or platforms.
