CyrusOne, a global data center operator owned by KKR, has announced plans to construct a new facility in the Dallas area. The project, known as DFW7, will cover approximately 2 million square feet and feature a two-story office component. Construction is set to begin this month with an estimated completion date of Q1 2026. Located at Asphalt Drive in Fort Worth’s Tarrant County and situated just six miles from Eagle Mountain Lake’s shores, the $200 million development is expected to be one of CyrusOne’s largest facilities.

With operations spanning across seven countries and 30 markets worldwide, CyrusOne currently operates 80 data centers globally. In the United States alone, they have locations in Arizona,
California,
Connecticut,
Illinois,
Kentucky,
New Jersey
New York
North Carolina
Ohio
Texas
Virginia
and Washington.

In Texas specifically, CyrusOne has a portfolio of fourteen planned or operational data centers throughout various cities including Dallas where their headquarters are located. This latest addition further solidifies their presence within the state.
