**Development Team Planning 240K-SF Mixed-Use Project in Indian Land, South Carolina**

A KW Commercial-led team is setting its sights on a mixed-use development in Indian Land, South Carolina, just south of Charlotte. The new project, known as The Point, is slated to span 44 acres and will feature approximately 240,000 square feet of total commercial space.

Plans for The Point include a 90-room hotel along with a variety of commercial outparcels. These are intended for diverse uses such as medical offices, retail shops, restaurants, smaller office spaces, storage facilities, and a daycare center.

According to reports, the development team is aiming to break ground on The Point in the summer of 2026.

The surrounding area is already experiencing significant growth. In September, the Medical University of South Carolina began construction on a new hospital campus at 9258 Charlotte Highway, with an expected opening date in 2027.

Additionally, Crosland Southeast is currently developing The Exchange at Indian Land, a large-scale mixed-use center anchored by recently opened Costco and Lowes Foods stores. The project also features residential units, including apartments and townhomes, as well as additional retail space.

The Point aims to contribute to this momentum in Indian Land by delivering a comprehensive, multi-use destination for residents and visitors alike.
