Construction has begun on the initial phase of Northside at SanTan Village, a development spanning 37,245 square feet and located between Williams Field and Ray roads in Gilbert. This project is a collaboration between Okland Capital and San Tan Development Group, with design work by Aline Architecture Concepts.
Next month will see the start of construction on a Marriott Springhill Suites hotel with 134 rooms. The hotel will occupy approximately half of the 20-acre site for Northside at SanTan Village. The remaining acreage is being planned for future phases.
The grand opening for the retail and restaurant buildings is scheduled for November 2025, while the hotel is expected to open in early 2026. According to reports from Phoenix Business Journal, there are plans in place to develop an additional phase that would utilize another ten acres within Northside at SanTan Village.
Overall, this new development represents an investment exceeding $100 million dollars. The first phase alone accounts for $60-70 million of that total amount.
