Developers Consider El Portal for Rental Community

The El Portal Village Council is set to vote on resolutions regarding The Launch at Little River, a planned eight-story apartment complex with 152 units and a 2,500-square-foot restaurant space. This project is being proposed by Barrington Brothers and will be located at 8300 N.E. 4 Place.

In March of next year, the Barrington Brothers invested $5.17 million in acquiring the site for this development which sits just north of Miami city limits along the Little River waterway. It will also be situated near another rental community completed by Barrington Brothers in June called The Kavista Apartments (pictured), an eight-story building with 282 units.

The proposed Launch location is also conveniently close to the former Little Farm Trailer Park, a large vacant property spanning over15 acres at8500 Biscayne Boulevard. This site has been approved for development of more than2,300 apartment units.

Developers have their sights set on El Portal as they plan for this new rental community.
