"Developer Invests $29.1 Million in Pompano Beach Apartment Site"

A partnership between Atlantic Residential and Mutual Life Insurance Corp. has purchased a 12.8-acre property next to a Pompano Beach casino for $29.1 million from Cordish Cos. and Caesars Entertainment, who currently operate Live! at the Pomp and Harrah’s Pompano Beach casino.

Located at 777 Isle of Capri Circle, the site is zoned for up to 423 residential units spread across nine buildings ranging from two to five stories in height, along with amenities such as a clubhouse with pool and pickleball courts, as well as parking spaces for 588 vehicles. The development will be known as Indigo Pompano Beach.

The project is limited to no more than 2,000 square feet of retail space due to restrictions set by Cordish Cos. and Caesars Entertainment in order not compete with their own retail offerings at the Pomp location which includes restaurants and entertainment options. However, multifamily housing could potentially attract more customers to the area surrounding the Pomp casino.
