NOMI Holdings Group 2 LLC has received approval from North Miami to construct an 11-story tower standing at a height of 103 feet. The project, known as Urbania NoMi 6th Ave, will feature a total of 240 apartments (90 one-bedroom and150 two-bedroom), along with approximately22,000 square feet of retail space and ample green space. Additionally, the development will provide parking for up to339 vehicles.
Located at the intersection of NE Sixth Ave. and N.E.127th St., the site spans over2.74 acres where it currently houses a church, private school,and single-family home.The South Florida Business Journal reports that NOMI Holdings Group 2 LLC –a collaboration between SP Developments based in Miamiand Continua Developments–has invested $6.92 million in acquiring this landin2022.The projected cost for constructing NoMi6thAve is estimated at $58 .9million.
The developers have pledgedto allocate80%to90%ofthe unitsatNoMi6thAvefor moderate-income housing.This mixed-use project aims to cater to both residential and commercial needs while also providing affordable housing options within North Miami’s urban landscape.
