### Greenlight Communities Plans Large Mixed-Use Development in Buckeye

Greenlight Communities is proposing a major mixed-use development near the Verrado community in Buckeye, consisting of 954 multifamily units and 5.7 acres of commercial space. The project is still pending approval from the Buckeye City Council.

The developer seeks to rezone 46.06 acres at the northeast corner of Verrado Way and the Van Buren Street alignment. The proposed **Greenlight Verrado** development will divide the property into five parcels, creating a walkable environment that integrates residential and commercial spaces. A pedestrian bridge will connect the different areas, enhancing accessibility for residents and visitors.

Planned commercial uses for the project include retail, medical, employment, and educational services.

The property is currently owned by the Buckeye Union High School District 201, with Greenlight Communities leading the development. Land planning and design are being managed by RVi Planning + Landscape Architecture, while Jett Civil Engineering is handling civil engineering for the project.
