Denver Parking Lot Moguls Aim to Construct Office High-Rise

Residential projects have flooded the Golden Triangle in Denver, and one renowned parking lot owner is proposing a new 17-story office tower at 1201 Cherokee St. on the northwest corner of West 12th Avenue and Cherokee Street. An LLC associated with Panayes Dikeou purchased the site in 2016 for more than $4.5 million, according to property records reported by The Denver Business Journal. The 339,820-square-foot building will include 5,444 square feet of ground floor cafe, retail and restaurant use as well as 221 parking spaces – providing an attractive work environment for apartment tenants nearby who are looking to stay close to home while working in an office space.
