Holy Cross Health has recently announced the development of a new Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) located at 340 S. Federal Hwy in Deerfield Beach. This state-of-the-art facility, spanning 25,000 square feet and costing $41 million, aims to improve health outcomes by providing immediate emergency services and reducing wait times.
The FSED will be equipped with cutting-edge medical technology and designed with patients’ needs in mind. It will not only meet the current healthcare demands of the community but also have room for future growth.
Expected to be completed by February 2026, this facility will feature clinical exam rooms as well as comprehensive emergency services such as advanced diagnostic imaging (X-ray, ultrasound, CT scanning) and an on-site laboratory. Additionally, it will have a dedicated ambulance bay for efficient response times and private treatment rooms prioritizing patient comfort.
With round-the-clock availability ensuring continuous access to emergency healthcare services, this new center is set to greatly benefit residents of Deerfield Beach.
