President Donald Trump announced the launch of a new project during his early days in office, and now it has been revealed that Texas will be the starting point for this ambitious $500 billion initiative to drive artificial intelligence research in the United States.
According to Oracle’s CEO Larry Ellison, known as “Stargate Project,” this venture will kick off in Abilene. The tech giant is reportedly leasing a 200-megawatt data center located in this central Texas town. Along with partners OpenAI and SoftBank, Oracle aims to provide both physical and virtual infrastructure necessary for advancing AI technology. This investment is expected to reach $500 billion over four years.
Out of the total amount planned for investment, $100 billion will be deployed immediately as part of Stargate Project’s initial phase.
Leaders behind this project anticipate that it will not only create hundreds of thousands of jobs across America but also bring significant economic benefits on a global scale.
