### DC Partners Plans 22-Acre Mixed-Use Development in Fredericksburg

DC Partners is set to develop a 22-acre mixed-use project in Fredericksburg, featuring retail spaces and anchored by a luxury boutique hotel. Named The Meuse, the development will be located adjacent to the historic Klingelhoeffer House, just east of the Highway 290 and Main Street intersection. Groundbreaking is expected to take place this spring.

According to the *Austin Business Journal*, the project will include 73,200 square feet of destination retail, restaurants, and tasting rooms. While the hotel’s branding has yet to be determined, it is expected to offer a high-end, boutique experience. Retail leasing is being managed by Colliers Houston’s Wade Green and Hannah Schiro. Brady Closson, CEO of the Fredericksburg Convention and Visitors Bureau, noted that the development aligns with the city’s goal of boosting midweek tourism.

The project is slated for completion by the end of 2027. Dallas-based Merriman Anderson Architects Inc. is leading the design, with Chicago-based Curioso handling the hotel’s interior design. Satterfield & Pontikes has been appointed as the construction manager.
