Dayton Street Partners (DSP), a leading logistics real estate investment and development firm based in Chicago, has successfully acquired a six-building logistics park situated on 11 acres at 700 Larsen Lane in Bensenville, Illinois. The property was sold by a private investor and was already 85% leased at the time of purchase. DSP is planning to complete an extensive renovation of the terminal by November with an estimated cost of several million dollars. CBRE’s Jack Brennan acted as the seller’s representative and is also exclusively marketing the property.
The park consists of various facilities including a truck terminal with 37 doors, two truck maintenance buildings, and one warehouse. It is strategically located within DuPage County’s O’Hare Industrial submarket, right across from O’Hare International Airport.
DSP continues to expand its portfolio through recent acquisitions in Atlanta, Tampa,Nashville,Savannah,and San Diego that focus on industrial operations systems (IOS)and other related logistics ventures.The company has recently completed developing another project-216-door/1000-trailer terminal spread over47 acres-in Houston,Texas.
