Marcus & Millichap recently announced the successful sale of a net-leased DaVita Dialysis property located at 1615 Eastchester Road in the Bronx, which traded for $4.2 million. The 14,110-square-foot facility sits within a high-traffic medical corridor, surrounded by five major hospitals, enhancing its strategic value in the healthcare real estate market.

“This property has been in the seller’s family since the 1950s, making it a particularly meaningful transaction,” said Daniel Chumbley of Marcus & Millichap. “After serving as the home of their family business for decades, it was redeveloped in 1995 to house DaVita Dialysis and has played a vital role in meeting the community’s healthcare needs ever since. We received multiple offers above the asking price within just ten days on the market, a testament to the strong demand for well-located healthcare assets.”

Chumbley, along with fellow investment specialists Sean Sharko and Austin Weisenbeck from the firm’s Chicago Oak Brook office, represented the seller, a multi-generational family corporation. The team also procured the buyer, a New York City-based investment group. John Horowitz serves as Marcus & Millichap’s broker of record in New York.
