PGIM Real Estate and Barker Pacific Group (BPG) announced that Databricks Inc., a leading data and AI company, has signed a lease for approximately 150,000 square feet at One Sansome in downtown San Francisco. This marks the largest new office lease in the city so far this year.

Databricks will move its headquarters from 160 Spear Street, consolidating all San Francisco employees into nine full floors at One Sansome. The company is set to begin a phased build-out of its new offices in June.

“Our long-term investment in San Francisco is yielding results, and we are enthusiastic about the future of downtown,” said Darin Bright, managing director and head of U.S. core-plus investment strategies at PGIM Real Estate.

Newmark’s Mike Brown, Roman Adler, and Aaron Gillespie represented BPG in the transaction, while Databricks was represented by JLL’s Arnand Tiano and Andy Hueser.
