**Data Center Developer ACS Seeks City Incentives for $2.2B Fort Worth Project**

Data center developer ACS has submitted a proposal to the Fort Worth City Council seeking incentives for a major data center project planned for the northern part of the city. If approved, the project would represent a $2.2 billion investment.

Under the proposed agreement, the City of Fort Worth would provide tax incentives tied to the project’s phased development. In phase one, ACS would be eligible for up to 35% of the incremental increase in business personal property tax value. That percentage could rise to 70% during the project’s second phase.

To qualify for the phase one incentive, ACS has committed to completing the work by the end of 2031. This includes an investment of $240.8 million in real estate and $842.8 million in business personal property, along with the creation of 28 jobs. Phase two, scheduled for completion by the end of 2034, would mirror the first in terms of investment—$240.8 million in real estate and $842.8 million in business personal property—and add nine more jobs.

City officials estimate the development could generate approximately $57.9 million in new tax revenue, which they believe would offset the value of the proposed incentives.
