Dallas is home to one of the tallest buildings in the city, and it’s getting a makeover. The 55-story Chase Tower, which stands as fourth-tallest building in downtown Dallas’ skyline, will be renamed Dallas Arts Tower and receive a multi-million dollar remodel with an “reimagined” lobby. Fortis Property Group purchased the building from Hines REIT for $273 million back in 2016 and plans to add an art gallery to its lobby area along with commissioning art for other public spaces within it. In addition, two new restaurants are being added as part of this renovation project; construction is set to begin this summer with completion expected by early 2024. Milkshake Concepts has been awarded these restaurant spaces – one located at the lobby that will serve European cuisine all day long while another rotunda restaurant offering Greek dishes during lunchtime and dinner hours respectively. Richard Keating designed this 738 foot tower which was completed back in 1987 making it over 30 years old now!
