Monroe Group and Steele Properties recently invested $19 million into the rehabilitation of Fairway Village Apartments, a 250-unit affordable housing complex in Dallas that was originally built in 1969. Benton Design Group served as the project architect while KeyBank provided construction financing. Exterior renovations included new roofs, paint, parking lot pavement, sidewalks and perimeter fencing. Additionally, infrastructural upgrades targeted heating and air conditioning systems as well as plumbing and electrical systems. Interior improvements involved updating kitchens with new appliances cabinets countertops; enhancing bathrooms with vanities toilets tub surrounds; adding flooring interior doors windows fixtures to complete the revamp process. The project team also delivered a community building featuring a kitchen computer lab playground pavilion along with renovating their leasing management office for an overall successful completion of this multi-million dollar endeavor .
