Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital has announced a major expansion project worth $277.5 million, set to be completed by 2027. This marks the third expansion in the hospital’s seven-year history and will add 58 beds and 347,000 square feet of new and renovated service areas to the campus.
The highlight of this project is a state-of-the-art six-story patient tower that can expand up to eight floors for future growth. It will also bring TIRR Memorial Hermann’s services closer to the community with its dedicated inpatient rehabilitation beds and rehabilitation gym.
In addition, there will be significant enhancements made to the Emergency Center with an increase in bed count from 27 to 40, including specialized pediatric rooms and trauma rooms. The project also includes four Operating Rooms with potential for six more as well as an additional cardiac catheterization lab/interventional radiology suite.
This latest development reinforces Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital’s commitment towards providing top-notch healthcare services while catering to growing demands within its community.
