**High-Tech Sam’s Club and Carhartt Set to Open at Tempe Marketplace**

Tempe Marketplace is expanding its retail and entertainment offerings with the addition of two major retailers: Sam’s Club and Carhartt. Together, the new stores will occupy more than 150,000 square feet within the shopping district.

Sam’s Club, the membership-based retail giant owned by Walmart, is scheduled to open its new store in early August. This location will feature several innovative shopping options, including curbside pickup, home delivery, and the company’s cutting-edge Scan & Go technology. Using the Scan & Go feature within the Sam’s Club app, members can scan each item as they shop and then exit the store through a system powered by computer vision technology, which verifies purchases at the door.

Joining the center alongside Sam’s Club is Carhartt, the iconic workwear brand. This store will represent Carhartt’s first location in the Phoenix metropolitan area and is expected to open by the end of 2025.

Tempe Marketplace is located at 2000 E. Rio Salado Parkway in Tempe, Arizona. These exciting additions are expected to enhance the already vibrant shopping and entertainment destination.
