**Chill Development Selects Cushman & Wakefield to Lease New Freezer/Cooler Facility Near Atlanta**
Chill Development has appointed Cushman & Wakefield to lease its new 334,467-square-foot speculative freezer/cooler facility located at South Park Industrial Park in Ellenwood, Georgia, near Atlanta. This marks the third facility for Chill Development, adding to its current portfolio in Denton, Texas, and Plainfield, Illinois.
Chris Copenhaver, Senior Director at Cushman & Wakefield and Co-lead of the firm’s National Food & Beverage Advisory Group, will lead the marketing initiatives for the new facility.
“In metro Atlanta and across the U.S., we’re seeing a shortage of freezer/cooler space that is exacerbated by increasing demand from wholesalers, retailers, restaurants, and food and beverage companies,” said Copenhaver.
The new facility, located at 3200 South Park Blvd., is fully freezer-capable and features a design that allows for divisibility to suit varying tenant needs. It offers 50-foot clear storage heights and can accommodate temperature ranges from -10°F to +70°F across different zones.
This strategic addition aims to meet the growing demand for specialized cold storage in the food and beverage industry, both regionally and nationwide.
