Cushman & Wakefield Arranges $91M Sale of Luxury Apartment Community The Reserve at Sugarloaf

Cushman & Wakefield has successfully arranged the $91 million sale of The Reserve at Sugarloaf, a 333-unit multifamily community in Duluth, GA. Located at 2605 Meadow Church Road in Atlanta’s rapidly growing I-85 North Corridor, the asset was acquired by Olen Properties.

Built in 2002, The Reserve at Sugarloaf features spacious floorplans plus a fitness center, pool area with pet park and internet café as well as car care center. With its proven renovation strategy primed for growth potentials it attracted an overwhelming amount of attention from investors resulting in a successful sale.

Robert Stickel (executive vice chair), Alex Brown Ashlyn Warren and Wesley Lacefield from Cushman & Wakefield represented New York Life Real Estate Investors who strategically improved the timeless asset with large floor plans and garages along with unique amenities during their hold period before selling it off to Olen Properties. According to Stickel: “Their hold period lined up well with a window in the capital markets where they could see an overwhelming amount of attention from investors.”
