Cushman & Wakefield Appoints Robert Thornburgh as Southwest Regional Leader

Cushman & Wakefield has announced the appointment of Robert Thornburgh, SIOR, CCIM, FRICS as the new regional president for their Southwest Region. This region includes Southern California, Nevada, Phoenix, Colorado Utah and Idaho. Based in Los Angeles,Thornburgh will be responsible for driving strategic growth in these areas by focusing on client service delivery and talent development while also building strong partnerships across all of Cushman & Wakefield’s service lines.

Thornburgh will report to Victoria Malkin who is the President of Americas Markets at Cushman & Wakefield. Malkin expressed her excitement about Thornburgh joining their team saying “We are thrilled to welcome Robert to our company as he takes on this important leadership role.” She went on to praise his experience and expertise in brokerage operations along with his dedication to providing excellent customer service.

Before joining Cushman & Wakefield,Thornburgh served as Chief Executive Officer at Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), a prestigious organization with over 4,000 members worldwide. During his time there,Thornburg developed a strategic plan that led to improved member retention rates,membership growth,and increased brand recognition within the industry.
