Cushman & Wakefield Appoints Michelle MacKay as New CEO, Replacing John Forrester

Cushman & Wakefield announced Thursday that John Forrester, a 35-year veteran of the company, will retire as CEO and board member effective June 30. Michelle MacKay, currently president and COO of the Chicago-based firm, will assume the role of CEO on July 1. Brett White remains executive chairman of Cushman & Wakefield’s board.

Andrew McDonald has been appointed global president and COO with responsibility for all service lines and regions at Cushman & Wakefield. White commented: “The combination of Michelle’s expertise in commercial real estate – she joined us in 2018 as a board member – together with Andrew’s pivotal role in profitability growth and strategic development creates an exceptional leadership team to drive evolution within our industry.”
